Yakubu Mahmood, chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and Victor Oye, a former national chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), have been found guilty of disobeying court order of May 10, 2023.

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) high court in Bwari, presided over by Justice Madugu Mohammed found that Mahmood and Oye disobeyed the court’s orders regarding the APGA leadership crisis.
He gave them 14 days to purge themselves of the contempt or face the full wrath of the law.
