For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23.
Life point: Sometimes we fall into the trap of thinking we are the worst people on the face of the earth, and that nobody does as much wrong as we do.
Everyone who was ever born or ever will be has a problem with sin. But the good news is that God has provided an answer to our dilemma.
Just as all have sinned, all are justified and made righteous through the redemption provided in Christ Jesus. That means as believers in Jesus Christ we now have rightness instead of wrongness. Satan wants us to feel wrong, worthless, condemned, and sink down.
He knows that without confidence we will never step out in faith to fulfill our God-ordained destinies and goals. He knows if He can keep us in the prison of self-hatred, self-rejection, and prayerlessness he will prevent us from making progress or ever being a threat to Him and to the kingdom of darkness.
We must believe we have been made righteous in God’s sight before we will behave rightly. We can not produce the fruit of something for which no seed has been sown.
Jesus, Himself is the Righteous Seed sown in death and resurrected in power. For our sake, God made Christ to be sin who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become the righteousness of God, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness! Hallelujah to the Lamb of God!!
Prayers: O Lord draw me close to You.
Lord please be for me, be in me and be for me. Amen 🙏🏻
