Less than 24 hours after the annual matriculation examination into tertiary institutions kicked off across Nigeria, the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JABM), the organisers of the examinations says it has delisted 24 Computer Based Exam Centres across the country over their poor performance at the commencement of the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

A statement issued on Saturday evening by Dr Fabian Benjamin, the spokesperson for JAMB announced the development.

He said centres failed during the conduct of the 2021 UTME held on Saturday, June 19, 2021.

“Candidates posted to any of these centres are required to await further directives by checking their profile, email addresses and SMS on their registered phone for a new date,” Benjamin said.

More than one million candidates were registered for the 2021 UTME.
