Dr. Mahmud Ahmed, chairman Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), was kidnapped this afternoon on Abuja-Kaduna express road.
Ahmed, who is also National Coordinator of Buhari Support Organization (BSO), was travelling with his driver and daughter when they ran into the kidnappers.
His driver was killed by the kidnappers while his daughter was also taken by the kidnappers.
Ahmed’s official vehicle was abandoned on the road.
