Bunmi Tunji-Ojo, the lawmaker representing Akoko north-east and north-west constituency of Ondo state in the house of representatives, has resigned from the green chamber of the national assemby.
Tunji-Ojo is among the 45 ministers-designate to be sworn-in today by President Bola Tinubu as members of his cabinet.
Tunji-Ojo’s resignation was contained in a letter addressed to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, on Friday.
Tunji-Ojo said his resignation was necessitated by his appointment to serve Nigerians as a Minister under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
