President Bola Tinubu will make a broadcast to the nation on Monday, at 7 pm.
Dele Alake, special adviser to the president on special duties, communications and strategy, said in a statement on Monday, asked all broadcast media outfits to join the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria for the address.
Alake did not disclose the aim of the planned presidential broadcast/
Elendu Reports understands that Tinubu may likely talk about the state of the station, including the measures being taken by his administration to ease the impact of the petrol subsidy removal.
Sources in the presidency also hinted that the president will use the broadcast to address the planned strike by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) against some of the government’s “anti-people” policies.
