The John Odigie Oyegun led All Progressive Congress (APC) screening committee has submitted its report to the leadership of the party.
While submitting the report to the APC chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, Oyegun hinted that 10 out of the 23 presidential aspirants were disqualified from the primary election expected to take place between 6 and 8 of this month.
Although the names of those disqualified are still being kept top secret, it is not clear whether the President, Muhammadu Buhari has settled for a consensus candidate, going by comments credited to former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu that he was very instrumental to the emergence of Buhari as President in 2015 and 2019, including the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo.
