The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2021 Senior School Certificate Examinations (SSCE) internal examination.
Professor Dantana Wushishi, the Registrar of NECO who announced the results on Friday, October 29 at the headquarters in Minna, Niger State said 20 supervisors who were found wanting for various offences ranging from poor supervision have been blacklisted.
He announced that 878,925 candidates representing 71.64 per cent made five credits including Mathematics and English Language while 1,226,796 representing 91.04 per cent of the candidates made five credits and above irrespective of English Language and Mathematics.
He said: “The number of candidates involved in various forms of malpractice in 2021 is 20,003 representing 1.63 per cent whereas 33,470 representing 2.61 per cent cases recorded in 2020. The malpractice incidence in 2021 dropped compared to the figure of 2020”
The Registrar said that the students can check their results on the website of the examination body.
