The Federal Government says it will sue two directors and 31 other civil servants in the ministries of Agriculture and Enviroment as well as other federal parastatals before the Code of Conduct Tribunal over issues bordering on assets declaration.
A post on the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture twitter handle (@FMICNigeria) on Wednesday, said Danladi Yakubu Umar, Chairman Code of Conduct Tribunal, has approved November 7, 2017, for the arraignment of the affected civil servants
“The approval was sequel to request from Code of Conduct Bureau for his Lordship to commence trial of the civil servants whom were drawn from Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Federal Ministry of Environment and others from some Federal Agencies thus; Nigeria Geological Survey and National Orientation Agency (NOA).
“The alleged charges against the officers are of different degrees, but all borders on asset declaration breached, as filed by Code of Conduct Bureau through the office of Attorney General of the Federation,” the twitter post added.
