The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) says its operatives have arrested 11 suspected internet fraudsters in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
In a statement, Dele Oyewale, EFCC spokesperson, said the suspects were arrested on Monday at a nightclub in the Wuse area of Abuja following credible intelligence about their suspicious involvement in internet-related activities.
Oyewale listed items recovered from them to include three cars and 13 phones.
They will be charged in court as soon as investigations are concluded.
