President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday conferred national honours on some prominent Nigerians, including Emeka Anyaoku, former secretary-general of the Commonwealth.

Anyaoku was conferred with the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON).
The President has also bestowed national honours on former governors of Osun state-Bisi Akande and Ogun- Olusegun Osoba just as Mamman Daura and Central Bank Governor (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, among others received Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR).
He also rewarded some Nigerian artistes like David Adeleke, known as Davido, and soccer star, Victor Oshimen.
On the list are also Ministers who served under President Muhammadu Buhari.
