At least 104 members of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) and their families have surrendered to troops, the Nigerian Army has said.
In a Facebook post on Monday, the Army said the repentant terrorists comprise 22 males, 27 females and 55 children who surrendered to troops of 25 Task Force Brigade Damboa, Borno State on Saturday, February 5.
The army also shared photos of some of the repentant terrorists and their relatives.
ISWAP has been on the rampage in the Northeast particularly in Borno State.
