PRESIDENT Donald Trump who earlier today tested positive for COVID-19 has been taken to Walter Reed Military Medical Centre in Bethesda, Maryland.
Trump was taken to the hospital in Marine One which is the president’s helicopter to the medical centre.
Earlier, the White House had released a statement saying the President had mild symptoms.
The President left the south lawn of the White House at about 6.17 pm and arrived at Walter Reed Military Medical centre at about 6.27 pm.
A few hours later the President’s doctor said he had a fever and was fatigued.
The President is expected to spend some days at the Walter Reed Military Medical Centre.
