The Holy Spirit guides believers into all truth and He is the agent in the process of sanctification in their lives. His convicting work partially accomplishes this.
Every time we get off track, the Holy Spirit convicts us that our behaviour or decision is wrong.
This is accomplished by a knowing in our spirit that what we are doing is not right, and this is a major facet of the ministry of the Holy Spirit which is to help bring us to a place of truth, because only the truth will set us free.
Truth is one of the most powerful weapons a believer has against the kingdom of darkness. Truth is light and the Bible says that the darkness has never overpowered the light, and it will never.
Jesus said that truth will set us free, and truth is revealed by the Spirit of Truth! Hallelujah to the Lamb of God!
