Life points: Steadfast and Confidence!
We read about a heart that is not only fixed and steadfast, but also confident.
The mind is a battlefield and the devil lies to us by putting wrong thoughts in our minds. He is constantly trying to steal our confidence. He does not want us to believe in the power of prayer. He does not want us to have any confidence concerning the call on our lives or to be confident that we look nice, that we have any wisdom or that we know anything at all .
He wants us to go around feeling that we are failures. That is why we need to keep our hearts confident within us all the time.
I have learned that we do not have to feel confident to be confident. We can be confident by faith because our confidence should be in Jesus Christ, not in ourselves. No matter how I feel I still believe that I can do whatever I need to do through Jesus Christ who strengthens me. If we don’t feel confident,,then we feel afraid and I have learned at those times to “do it afraid “.
We don’t have to drag ourselves out of bed each day in fear or discouragement. Instead we should get up every morning prepared to keep Satan under our feet.
How do we do that?
We do it confidently declaring what the Word of God says about us confessing scriptures such as “ I am more than conqueror through Jesus I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I am triumphant in every situation because God always causes me to triumph (see Romans 8:37 , Philippians 4:13 , 2 Corinthians 2:14).
Speaking God’s Word not only causes the devil to leave us alone, but it also strengthens our confidence and confidence is essential if we are going to keep growing in God.

Lord I declare that I am empowered by Your Word , and help me to feed more on Your Word daily !
