Charles Chukwuma Soludo, former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and candidate of the APGA, has won the 2021 Anambra governorship election, according to projection of Elendureports.
Charles Soludo defeated Valentine Ozigbo of the PDP, and Andy Uba of the APC.
The Anambra governorship election was, contrary to expectations, devoid of widespread violence.
With official results declared so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission, the former professor of economics has won all but one local government area.
Results coming in from Ihiala local government area which held a supplementary election today 9th November, indicates that Prof Soludo is poised to win the local government area by a landslide.
Six communities in Ihiala local government area did not participate in the supplementary election due to threats of violence.
