Chukwuma Soludo, governor of Anambra, may be suspended by his party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Edozie Njoku, the national chairman of APGA, spoke in Lagos on Sunday in response to a question during media session.
Njoku admitted that the Party’s NWC had discussed the suspension of Soludo but was emphatic that no decision had been reached concerning the governor’s suspension.
“As you can see I’m very tired. I have been in Lagos meeting with the various groups in our party. My trip to Lagos is all about unity and reconciliation,” Njoku said.
“Every party suffers internal crisis but in APGA we must come together to checkmate APC and PDP in the South East.”
Speaking further on Soludo’s suspension, the APGA chairman said, “the Supreme Court has said that issues of party leadership is not justiceable..so whether its Soludo or me, its not justiceable.”
Njoku reiterated that APGA leadership tussle is over.
