Bukola Saraki, President of the Senate says the National Assembly is expecting the various security agencies to bring request for special funding before it in two weeks’ time.
This was part of the outcome of a private meeting between the Senate and Security Chiefs on Wednesday.
Saraki said funding challenges confronting security agencies was among the issues discussed at the meeting which lasted nearly four hours.
According to him, both parties have resolved that special funding for security agencies has become necessary and the agencies will bring the request for the special funding in two weeks.
