FLASH BACK: The Founder/National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Chekwas Okorie (middle) joined then All Nigerian Peoples Party (ANPP) Presidential Candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari at the hearing of General Buhari’s petition at Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, Area 3, Abuja over the contentious 2003 Presidential Election contested by then President Olusegun Obasanjo (PDP), General Buhari (ANPP) and Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu (APGA). Dim Ojukwu’s petition had earlier been handled by the Tribunal.

In 2004 Chekwas Okorie led APGA Leaders to pay a solidarity visit to Comrade Adams Oshiomhole at the National Secretariat of the NLC at Abuja.
