NSEASI Records 0.06% gain; opens year 2018 on a positive note

Equities market, Tuesday closed  on a positive note, as NSEASI appreciated by +0.06% to close at 3 8 ,264.79 basis points as against +0.66% appreciation recorded previously. Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at +0.06%.

Market breadth closed positive as FCMB led 26 gainers as against 12 Losers topped by NEM at the end of today’s session- an improved performance when compared with previous outlook.

Market turnover closes negat ive as volume moved down by -55 .72 % as against +74 . 10 % uptick recorded in the previous session. TRANSCORP , ZENITHBANK and SKYEBANK were the most active to boost market turnover. ZENITH Bank and GUARANTY Trust Bank topped market value list .

SKYE Bank leads the list of active stocks that recorded impressive volume spike at the end of today’s session.
