Presidential aspirants under the rolling All Progressives Congress (APC) are to contest the party’s primary following decision by President Muhammadu Buhari to back zoning of power to the south.
This was the outcome of a closed door meeting the president had Saturday night with all the aspirants in Abuja.
There will be no consensus candidate, a source privy to discussion at the meeting told Elendu Reports.
Earlier, governors of the party from the northern states have thrown their support behind a southern presidential candidate.
