In its determination and commitment to reducing islamophobia and misconception about the Islamic faith, the Islamic organisation, NASFAT Kaduna chapter has commissioned an administrative block and media centre.
The commissioning which was done by Dr Muheeba Farida Dankaka, executive chairman of Federal Character Commission took place at the NASFAT Village.
The Chairman, Engineer Yusuf Alimi in his remarks explained that the need to tell the Muslim story rest upon the shoulders of Muslims adding that, stories have been deliberately told to malign and vilify Muslims and Islam in both the traditional and social media.
In her remarks, Dr Mueeba Farida Dankaka the executive chairman of Federal Character Commission and special guest of honour expressed pleasure in the feat achieved by NASFAT.
She however, called for support from well meaning individuals to support the initiative.
Earlier, the faith-based organisation has invested heavily in the training of some members of its youth wing in the areas of videography, photography and editing.
