THE All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended the Governor of Imo State Rochas Okorocha and his Ogun State counterpart, Ibikunle Amosun.
This is coming barely 48 hours after President Muhammadu Buhari was declared winner of the February 23 election.
The two men were suspended for alleged anti-party activities at the National Working Committee meeting held on Friday in Abuja.
The meeting is still in session as of the time of filing this report. It was gathered that further disciplinary actions may still be taken against them when the party’s National Executive Council (NEC) meets.
Also suspended were the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Usani Uguru and the Director General of Voice of Nigeria, Osita Okechukwu.
