AKWA Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, allegedly disrupted the sitting of a faction of the state House of Assembly on Tuesday.
According to The PUNCH, Governor Emmanuel reportedly arrived the complex of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly to disrupt the sitting by the five members of the All Progressives Congress.
There were reports of gunshots by security operatives immediately the governor entered the premises of the state assembly.
The factional speaker of the house, Nse Ntuen who had earlier sat with the four other sacked lawmakers were harassed by security personnel in front of the Assembly.
His vehicle was destroyed while he escaped being mobbed by supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and security personnel.
