LESS than 24 hours that the convener of #RevolutionNow, Omoyele Sowore was released from the detention of Department of Security Services (DSS), operatives of the DSS Friday morning re-arrested him in the premises of the Federal High Court Abuja.
Sowore and his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare were re-arrested amidst drama in the court between his supporters and DSS operatives.
They were taken to the DSS headquarters despite protest by Sowore’s supporters at the court.

Lead counsel to Sowore, Femi Falana, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) also insisted that his client could not be arrested in the court premises demanding to see the leader of the DSS operatives.
Earlier before his forceful re-arrest, Sowore maintained his stance on the revolution saying “I will not give up.”
He revealed that the Federal Government delegation that visited him in the detention made series of offer to him but insisted that he would not give up on his cause.
Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu, of the Federal High Court, Abuja, the judge handling his treasonable felony trial on Thursday ordered the DSS to release Sowore within 24 hours and pay him a compensation of N100,000 insisting that the trial would not continue until he is released.
While the drama ensued in the court, Justice Ojukwu was shoved aside by the DSS operatives, which amounts to contempt of court.
