The family of Abdullahi Darma, Special Assistant on Religious Affairs to Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, was over the weekend thrown into grief as Darma accidentally crushed his daughter, Aisha, to death.
Darma mistakenly crushed Aisha to death while he was reversing his car at his house in Katsina.
He was said to be unaware that his innocent daughter was playing behind the car when trying to go out and ran over her.
According to a member of the family, who craved anonymity, “the car ran over the girl and she died on the spot.”
The bereaved and heartbroken father later took to Facebook to confirm the ugly incident.
“A few minutes ago, I got tested by God. I was reversing my car when I crushed my daughter mistakenly and she died,” Darma posted on Facebook.
The post attracted torrents of sympathies and condolences from friends and family members.
