There are unconfirmed reports that Philip Chinonso Udala, founder of Udala Football Club, Uke, Anambra state was killed yesterday, July 14th, 2021 on a street in Uke.
A video of two vehicles; a Toyota Tundra and Lexus SUV on fire went viral yesterday.
A voiceover on the video claimed that the two vehicles came under a barrage of gunfire which resulted in the deaths of all the occupants of the vehicles.
It is not known who or what set the vehicles ablaze. The voice claimed that a policeman who was a passenger in one of the vehicles lay dead in a nearby gutter.
A social media report claims that Godsent Eriobu, team manager of Udala Football Club was also a passenger in one of the vehicles.
The Anambra state Police Command are yet to make an official statement as at the time of publishing this report.
Philip Chinonso Udala got married to Kelly, on January 10th this year. He is said to be a business mogul.
Our search did not reveal his line of business.
It is not known who assassinated Udala and others in his convoy. However, a social media report credits the infamous unknown gunmen as the perpetrators of the dastardly act.
