Bilyamin Muhammed Bello, son of former minister and former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Haliru Bello is dead.

According to his friends, the young Bello was stabbed to death by his wife, Maryam Sanda, daughter of Hajia Maimuna Aliyu, former executive at Aso Savings.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that Bilyamin and Maryam fought over a text message on his phone which she suspected to have come from her husnand’s lover.

According to a source, “Maryam stabbed the late Muhammed thrice in the back and his crutch.” They also allege that her mother, Maimuna had bitten Bello’s ear during an earlier altercation involving infidelity. He was said to have been advised to vacate the Maitama home of the couple, an advice he failed to heed.

Friends of the deceased allege that his wife, Maryam, drove him to the hospital after the attack, where the doctors on duty could not save his life.

There are also allegations that Maryam’s mother, Maimuna Aliyu tampered with the scene of the incident at the couple’s Maitama home to make it look like there was a fight between Bilyamin and Maryam.

The marriage produced a daughter. The incident occurred on Saturday night in Abuja. We are yet to determine the name and location of the hospital where Bilyamin Bello was taken to and where he lost his life.

Elendu Reports  is working hard to independently confirm the facts of this case.
