Osagie Ize-Iyamu candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the Edo gubernatorial election, has accepted the outcome of the election in which he and 12 other candidates lost to Godwin Obaseki, incumbent Governor of the state and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Ize-Iyamu in a Twitter statement on Sunday congratulated Obaseki for the victory.
He also thanked Edo people for their support.
“Edo people has decided, We thank you all,” he said in the tweet.
