My attention has been drawn to a piece of junk circulating in the social media; purportedly authored by me referencing an imaginary meeting with the National Chairman.
Unfortunately for the purveyors, my writing style and language are widely known having engaged in literary work most of my adult life.
However, for the records, I totally and completely disown the piece of junk they are trying to pin on me. It clearly bears the unmistakable marks of detractors as part of their sustained campaign of calumny targeted at stoking disaffection within the party through other means.
Clearly, the attempt is a poor interpretation of who they think I am.
Thankfully, my loyalty to the leadership of our party from the national to the local level is well known and unquestionable. I hereby reaffirm same and thank ALL our leaders for the confidence they continue to repose in me.
Ebonyi PDP remains strongly bonded and all party faithful are remarkably steadfast. I enjoin everyone of us to remain determined discountenancing the said statement as a failed handwork of desperate agents of destabilization. It is nothing more than a piece of trash and should be consigned to the waste bin, where it rightly belongs.
Let us continue to focus on the task of Rescuing our dear state from the shackles of those who are out to pin us down to poverty, suffering and other forms of hardship. We shall win together and together we will rescue and rebuild.
May God bless the People’s Democratic Party
May God bless Ebonyi State
Thank you.
