Donald John Trump, the 45th President of the United States of America has been found guilty in the hush money trial by a New York jury of his peers.
He was found guilty of all 34 counts of falsifying business records to cover up hush money payments to Stormy Daniels, an adult film star who he had an affair with.
Trump, 77, denies all the allegations. He is the first American president to be tried and convicted of felonies.
The jury is made up of 7 men and 5 women. Two of the jurors are lawyers.
The convictions should result in a long prison term.
Donald Trump sat stoically as the verdict was read. His second son, Eric, was sitting behind him.
