President Muhammadu Buhari has sent a letter to the National Assembly seeking to present the estimates of the 2018 budget to a joint session of the National Assembly on Tuesday, November 7.
The proposal will contain financial estimates of revenue and expenditure of the federation for the coming year.
Bukola Saraki, Senate President, read an executive communication from the Presidency to present a proposal for the 2018 Appropriation in accordance with section 81(1) of the 1999 Constitution
It is expected that the 2018 appropriation bill will set in motion a revert to the January to December budgetary framework. END!!!
