Buhari writes Senate, to present 2018 budget November 7

President Muhammadu Buhari has sent a letter to the National Assembly seeking to present the estimates of the 2018 budget to a joint session of the National Assembly on Tuesday, November 7.‎

The proposal will contain financial estimates of revenue and expenditure of the federation for the coming year.

 Bukola Saraki, Senate President, read an executive communication from the Presidency  to present a proposal for the 2018 Appropriation in accordance with section 81(1) of the 1999 Constitution

‎It is expected that the 2018 appropriation bill will set in motion a revert to the January to December budgetary framework. END!!! ‎
