Buhari to soldier: Don't spare any cattle rustler or anyone who thinks he is above the law

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has given Nigerian soldiers deployed to battle armed bandits terrorising the North a mandate not to spare any one of them.

While addressing troops of the Operations Sharan Daji and Diran Mikiya at their Operational Base at Umaru Yar’adua Int’l Airport, Katsina, the President said “I do not want you to spare any cattle rustler, any armed robber or any stupid person who thinks he is above the law.“

The President has been criticized for his perceived silence on the activities of herdsmen and cattle rustlers who have been attacking and killing people in some parts of the country but he has given the military the go ahead to take the bandits down.
