BRT bus collides with train in Lagos, several persons feared dead

There are reports that a fatal accident has occurred in Lagos, involving the collision of a train and BRT Bus.

The incident was said to have occurred around Ikeja at about 7 am.

Several passengers were feared dead, following the impact of the collision.

The spokesperson for the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, Taofiq Adebayo, said rescue operation was ongoing.

At the time of filing this report, it was not clear how the BRT bus found its way to the train tracks.
