THE Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Nyesom Wike of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the winner of Rivers State governorship election.

After the concluding polls conducted in the state, Wike polled a total of 886,264 votes to lead other candidates in the election.
