Governors on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) said they have agreed on zoning formula to settle all the differences within the party as they prepared for the party’s national convention.
Nasir El-Rufai, Governor of Kaduna State was seeing a video shared by the Nation newspaper Monday afternoon on Twitter and disclosed that the governors have agreed on zoning formula in the party.

“We have agreed on every issue… we can differences but to call it division is using the word…But after our meeting of last night to deliberate on the proposal by the National Caretaker Committee and we are meeting with Mr President today, we are all on the same page,” El-Rufai said.
“We have agreed in zoning formula, all the six geo-political zone will swap- northern zones will take positions that southern zones have in the last eight years and vice versa. It is a very simple, equitable and fair formula.”
El-Rufai said the governors will go back and consult at the zonal level with the view to look at the positions that are available while the process of preparing for the convention will start.
