At least 38 persons have been abducted by bandits from Ruwan-Godiya Village in Faskari Local Government Area, Katsina State.
The bandits in the Faskari forest raided the village on Monday night between the hours of 7:30pm to 9:30pm, abducting 38 people and leaving three persons injured.
Elendu Reports gathered that 50 persons were initially abducted but 12 escaped leaving 38 persons in the hands of the Bandits.
Mallam Usman, an eyewitness said there were sporadic shootings when the Bandits invaded the village with no security officers sighted in their 2hours raid.
Ruwan-Godiya village is along the Sheme-Yankara road where terrorists recently abducted scores of commuters.
The attack was equally confirmed by the Katsina Police Spokesman, SP Gambo Isah.
Police spokesman in the state said the number of residents abducted could not be ascertained yet.
