Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 elections, on Wednesday visited former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.
According to a video of his arrival in Abeokuta on Wednesday released by The Nation, Tinubu was accompanied on the visit by APC chieftains like Chief Bisi Akande, for National Chairman of the APC, Chief Segun Osoba, former governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel, among others.
Reports say the APC candidate went into a closed-door meeting with former President Obasanjo.
Elendu Reports learnt that the visit was part of Tinubu’s moves to gather support for his presidential dream.
The trip to Abeokuta comes a few days after President Muhammadu Buhari received Tinubu and his running mate Kassim Shettima at the State House in Abuja.
The duo were accompanied by the APC Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu and Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong.
