A former Consular General of Nigeria’s High Commission in South Africa, Ambassador Okey Emuchay has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Emuchay who contested the APC’s primaries to vie for Abia State governorship ticket conveyed the news of his resignation from the party in a letter dated November 16, 2018 written to the APC chairman, Azumini Ward, Ukwa East Local Government of Abia State. A copy of the letter was obtained by Elendu Reports.
He retired from public service in 2014, two years before he was due for retirement.
He however did not state reasons for his action.
